Default Guild based storage

Hey ArenaNet

My idea which I've put to a number of people within my own guild and a few others is that when you do get your guild hall there should be a storage lady at the hall who doesn't hold items just for you.

The idea is that you can put any materials and money or whatever you like in there which is freely available to ALL guild members.

Be it weapons or materials as above this would allow you to pass on your excess equipment to other who may need it.

Obviously there are people who may abuse this system and simply take everything so perhaps some sort of logging system should also be included so that you can see if anyone is simply stealing everything and take whatever action your guild feels would be appropriate.

At present the only way to share resources is to have someone else online and hope he has the materials you need, which isn't always. So you can find yourself trying to get them through other means like on the trading system. Which is not one of the aspects of the game I consider to be fun, experienced players overprice everything and new comers don't have much to sell.

Good idea. To reduce the abuse you mentioned, maybe permission is required from the leader or officers before a member can get access to the storage. Of course, this will not solve the problem completely if the abuser manage to gain the trust of the guild council. But nothing is perfect. A flexible game is an exploitable game, as I mention in my other post

check out this thread for most, if not all of the same ideas

seems great minds do think alike, and most of guild wars wants the same things

http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=37949

and you need to limit the take out amounts to say, 10% of cash and items per day, so your guild or your leader, if cracked, dosent loose everything in one go.
also, if only officers and leader or just leader can take out, but nayone can add, it helps keep the spirit of the guild alive
